The English & Social Studies Departments celebrated International Week from 22 - 26 January 2024. The event was organized with 4 objectives in mind: to encourage teamwork, communication, and the sharing of ideas to create meaningful and insightful projects; to enhance communication skills through activities such as public speaking, group discussions, and presentations related to international topics; to encourage students to appreciate and respect cultural differences through interactive activities, presentations, and discussions; and to foster a sense of global citizenship by exposing students to diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives from around the world.

Each year level showcased their skills. Primary 1-2 hosted a fun spelling bee, Primary 3 made interesting travel brochures, Primary 4 had a writing comprehension/reading activity, Primary 5 had a competitive quiz, and Primary 6 performed well during their public speaking presentations.

Secondary 1 students were given a folk tale story reading, Secondary 2 incorporated technology and media in creating videos, Secondary 3 showed off their excellence in public speaking through the UN presentation, Secondary 4 had an International English Quiz, Secondary 5 portrayed their role as news reporter well, and Secondary 6 presented contemporary history events. These events served as an opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, learn about international cultures, and showcase their English language abilities.

EP would like to take this opportunity to give credit to the project organizers, the EP English and Social Department, and the hard work of all EP students.
