ACSP English Program, in collaboration with various institutions and establishments, organised the M-TEP Study trip for Secondary 4-6 on 17 November 2023. Students explored different institutions and companies aligned to their major stream. 

Students in the Medical Science major toured 3 Science-related faculties in King Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, namely the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Medicine. Students had the opportunity to do university-level lab experiments in anatomy using KMITL's modern facilities and equipment. Engineering students explored the Hino Suvarnabhumi Monozukuri Center. They learned about some basic protocols in a production line and had a chance to explore the factory like a site engineer. Business Administration students went to the Investment Discovery Museum. This museum is a good place for students to learn how to become beginner-level investors in a fun and comprehensive manner. 

 

Creative Innovation & Media Design (CIMD) visited the Bangkok Art & Culture Center. Students learned the importance and impact of innovation in life. It also showcased the New Gen Space: Space for all generations by BACC. Students who major in Japanese loved the interactive activities prepared by Waseda Bangkok management and staff. Chinese-major students enjoyed learning more about Chinese culture and its history at Yaowarat Road, Yaowara China Tower, and Heritage Center. 

These study trips had three goals: to provide students with opportunities to make real-world connections in their studies; to help them see and experience life in an actual workspace, where they can gain new perspectives relevant to their chosen major; and to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which will enable them to connect what they are learning in class to daily life situations.
