EP Science Lab Practice Synergy Seminar & Workshop
The Lab Practice Synergy Seminar & Workshop was held by the EP Science Department on 4 October 2023 at Einstein Lab. The purpose of the training was to provide assistance in preparing for laboratory activities and develop the constructive collaboration of teachers and co-teachers, as well as time management skills.
The training focused on strategies for how to meet the required quantity and quality of experiments for a semester, following the curriculum and school standards. There were also sample lesson demonstrations with laboratory activities on the day. During the plenary session, science teachers also shared their ideas and feedback. After that, they created the Scheme of Work (SOW) for the second-semester laboratory activities with the role of teacher and co-teacher in the 3 stages of planning and execution.
At the end of the activity, science teachers received a simple token and certificate. The EP would like to thank the organizers and all teachers for their active involvement.
