EP CIMD: Creative and Innovative Media Design Major
Secondary 4 CIMD major (Creative and Innovative Media Design) students visited the Asiatique, Riverfront for their Basic Photography practical examination with Mr. Thossaphol Nakhura, CIMD teacher, on 16 September 2023.
The S4 students incorporated their imagination and creative ideas into their photographs. They worked in groups to develop their collaborative skills and walked around Asiatique to capture the best shots they could. The photography techniques they applied are leading lines, disturbance and macro shots, repetition, reflection, motion blur, and freeze action. “The best part of the trip was the learning experience, and I am happy to learn how to correctly use ISO and shutter speed as well as other techniques we had learned. Not everyone can learn how to correctly use a camera,” one CIMD student said.
The output of this practical examination will be the photography exhibit at the 1st floor of St. Gabriel building on 22 September 2023. Everyone is invited to see the students’ work.
