Science Week 2023: Young Researchers of the Future

In Thailand, National Science Day is always observed in August to commemorate the anniversary of H.M. King Mongkut's (Rama IV) total solar eclipse predictions in 1868. King Mongkut laid the solid foundations for modern science in the country. Thai scientists and the nation had proclaimed King Mongkut the Father of Sciences for his wisdom and vision.

To celebrate this event, English Program Science Department organised our annual Science Week under the theme: Young Researchers of the Future. Everyone is welcome to come and join us as we celebrate Science Week, 2023 activities from 7-18 August 2023. There will be various fun and engaging activities per level as follows: Primary 1 (Animals' Body Covering), Primary 2 (Science Costume show & Plant cycle competition), Primary 3 (Science Portfolio "Vertebrates"), Primary 4 (My Science Mascot), Primary 5 (DIY Herbarium), Primary 6 (Science Stories), Secondary 1 (Scientific Tik-Tok), Secondary 2 (Science Stop-motion videos), Secondary 3 (Science debates), Secondary 4 (Science Ecology project), Secondary 5 (Science comic strip contest), Secondary 6 (Science News Contest). Through these events, EP would like the students to be engaged and inspired via Science & Technology, engineering and be fascinated by the world we live in.
