Secondary 5 Entrepreneurship 101: Our Mini Resto

Secondary 5 students completed the “S5 Entrepreneurship 101: Our Mini Resto” cooking activity held at culinary room, 2nd floor, Louis Marie building, designed by Miss Kanokwan Kaewmak and Mr. Batholomew Badar on 30 May 2023.

The students were tasked to prepare a lunch menu with a 500-baht budget for ingredients. The aim of this activity is to develop students’ culinary skills such as: following recipes, planning the menu, selecting good ingredients, improving their confidence in presenting their dish and managing the allotted budget. It also encouraged them to be self-directed and independent.

Each class, S5/8 and S5/9 were evaluated by guest mentors: Mentor Anuwat Sakritichai, Mentor Jakraphant Buranthirawith, and Mentor Nattapong Kangkun. They were evaluated based on 6 criteria: taste, time, counter tidiness, plating, dish presentation, and teamwork.

 

 This activity was designed for the students to learn and remember the most important things, to have fun in their learning experiences and to have knowledge about product sales projection.
