English Program ICT Study Trip: Ricoh Print and True Digital Park

Secondary ICT (Innovation and Computer Technology) students went to Ricoh Print Company and True Digital Park, Bangkok for their elective subject study trip. This trip aimed to spark the inner innovator in each of the students involved.

School trips bring subjects to life, they are also a way to reinforce lessons and expand knowledge in ICT. To learn about the different systems offered by two large companies, the trip had 2 parts: True Digital Park exploration and Ricoh (Imagine and change for the future).

The students explored True Digital Park which was built, based on the concept of “Open Innovation”. They were briefed about how it is fully equipped with all the amenities for all work and play needs, and how it integrates four distinct zones: co-working space, event space, open space, and event lab.

At Ricoh Print, students were encouraged by the staff to find ways to imagine what the future could bring and to be prepared to embrace change, driven by fast-changing technology built by creative minds. They also learned about the various system in Ricoh: Printing system (tiles, clothes, mirror, wood, wallpaper), security systems, surveillance and analytics, Schooney system, digital signage, and many more.

The students left having had a rewarding learning experience that can encourage them in their future endeavors. The trip served as one of their good memories thanks to the ICT teachers with the cooperation of Ricoh Print Company and True Digital Park.
