S5/9 students triumphed at the 2nd PIM International Hackathon
Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University held their 2nd International Hackathon with the theme “Sustainable well-being towards Zero-green-clean economy”, 9 December 2022.
Congratulations to the EP Secondary 5/9 students: Thanapan Tiratatri, Danei Maximilian Dahms, Purushottam Gautam, Hannah Kim, and Arisa Zheng who won first place in the Business Plan Presentation Competition out of 27 teams across the country. They received a 60,000 THB cash price and a 50% 4-year scholarship if they pursue their tertiary education at PIM.
Under the given theme, the participants had to solve the United Nations SDG problems by providing sustainable solution. Their business presentation should meet the set criteria which focuses on 4 things: Is it energy efficient? Does it promote healthy lives & well-being? Can it be a solution to end hunger & promote food security? And, is it sustainable living?
Ms. Kanokwan Kaewmak, Head of EP Academics, and Mr. Bartholomew Badar, EP Business teacher, guided the students throughout the application period (1 September-31 October) until the Hackathon period (28 November-9 December).
