As one of the Individual Development Project academic activities, English Program is holding the Internal English Assessment or IEA for Primary 1 to Secondary 3 students from 29 August until 6 September, 2022. This is led by the Head of Curriculum & Instruction for Secondary level Ms. Sasitorn Kohnoi, Head of English Content Group, Mr. Sebastian Bennett, and Assistant of English Content Group Ms. Rungnapa Laingam.

This assessment has 4 goals: to evaluate the students’ 4 English skills: Reading, Speaking, Listening, and Writing; to gauge the students’ English proficiency, their strengths, and skill areas to improve for the IDP; to collect IEA score and use part of it as formative score and; to prepare students for the International standardized tests like Cambridge Starter, Movers, and Flyers.

 

 

Various projects such as IEA are being implemented in English Program throughout the academic year to help students acquire the English Language proficiency they are expected to have in the different key skills.
