There is a fun lab experiment today for Secondary 5 students led by Ms. Leah Balbada, Chemistry teacher. The “Is Pringle Propelling Rocks?” is a Pringle Can Rocket Propulsion experiment that covers the application of the lessons learned about gas laws, 26 May 2022.

The students enjoyed doing this activity. They were tasked to calculate and test the right proportion of fuel for the propulsion of a pringle can and to apply scientific laws explaining the relationship between temperature, pressure, and volume of gases.

The experiment helps the students to see how gas laws affect things around us and their application in everyday life.
