Primary 1 English: Fly High!
Primary 1 students enjoyed the Fly High paper folding activity in their English class. Paper folding challenges the young learners at the cognitive level as they follow their teacher’s instructions. They had fun learning new skills and physically the hands become active.
This activity helps them in relaxing too. Tactile, motor and visual areas of the brain are activated and brought into use. It can also improve their memory, non-verbal thinking, attention and imagination. The students are eager to learn more using methods like this.
