Mr. Daiku Shimizu, an exchange student from Tokyo International University, and the students from the Japanese Language Major in EP had fun with the Nagashi Somen game; running thin noodles down a half-open bamboo pipe, catching them with chopsticks and then enjoying them with a delicious sauce. This is a popular festival in the summer in Japan as it brings a lot of fun and camaraderie and releases all the bad luck through the flowing water in the bamboo pipe.
