Kanto Gakuin Mutsuura and ACSP: Building Connections

ACSP led by Bro. Manit Sakonthawat, Vice Director, welcomed 2 distinguished visitors from Kanto Gakuin Mutsuura (KGM), Japan, Mr. Tsutomu Nakata, KGM Vice Director and Ms. Miho Tsutsui, General manager GLE class to strengthen the cooperation between ACSP and KGM and observe the learning atmosphere in the English program.

Ms. Rungrat Kamolsiriprasert, Head of Academics, Ms. Jiraporn Jittham, Head of English Program, Ms.Ampha Jamniyan, Head of Director’s office, Ms. Kanokwan Kaewmak, Head of Academics EP, Ms. Vipaporn Limthongtip, Japanese course coordinator, participated in the discussion, 3 J-Com teachers, and staff were also there. After exchanging information about school background, the delegates liked to see how ACSP and KGM collaborate followed by a souvenir giving and photo session. Afterwards, Mr. Nakata and Ms. Tsutsui observed 2 classes in English Program, Secondary 4 Social studies class with Mr. Alex Stewart and Secondary 5 IELTS class with Mr. Andrew Taylor.

 

KGM offers the Global Learning through English or GLE course which is based on the concept of the “SELF (Success and Empowerment in the Lingua Franca)” program. Its goal is to nurture students in order for them to attend domestic and overseas universities where lectures are given in English (source: https://en.kgm.ed.jp/learning/gle.html).

Further discussions will be communicated and exchanged between two parties, ACSP and KGM, to cater for both program’s objectives and build connections for future projects.
