P5 and S1 Math: Average, Volume, and Surface Area
Students in Primary 5 and Secondary 1 enjoyed Mathematics class activities planned by Mr. Tieme Willems.
For Primary 5, the students searched around the classroom and beyond for interesting things to compare and measure, to calculate averages in their collected data.
Students in Secondary 1 were tasked to make their own model and do calculations based on this work. The result was a model and a presentation showing the calculations.
Through these activities students continue to develop their understanding of data as they learn ways to collect, organize, view, and interpret more complex data.
