70th Students’ Arts and Crafts Fair 2022: Back-to-Back Success!

Congratulations to the EP MRL Team for their back-to-back wins in Robotics and Computers for Lower and Upper Secondary in the 70th Students’ Arts and Crafts Fair. This was held under the Ministry of Education at the Educational service area level, Samutprakarn and hosted by Debsirin Samutprakarn School, on 7-8 December 2022.

After the preliminary eliminations in the area level, there were only 36 qualified schools left to compete in Samutprakarn Province. Of the 16 categories, EP MRL team took part in Robotics (หุ่นยนต์) with 18 competitors and Computers (คอมพิวเตอร์) with 31 competitors. The 2 coaches Ms. Sahar Khodashenas and Mr. Saeed Ghorbannejad trained the students to make entries that satisfied the criteria from the Excellent Student 2022 handbook in electronics, mechanics, coding, and application design & development.

 

 

Prin Dispat (S3/7), Chanatip Tachapahapong (S3/7), and Nichakan Sirivattanasakkul (S3/8) won the overall 1st runner up in the Lower secondary (S1-3) level. For the Upper Secondary level, S5/8 students: Teeranaparinn Sornsawat, Ramida Laphasphokin, and Kamin Kovitranit prevailed as the winners. Overall, they took home 2 golds in Robotics while getting 1 gold and 1 bronze for Computers. When the students heard the announcement that they had won, they cried tears of joy. “It is worth all the effort we put in for the contest,” they said.

This fair is an academic, arts and craft competition for students to use their knowledge and ability to the fullest with teachers’ support in order to continue to develop, exchange knowledge, and be excellent students. EP would like to thank all event organizers, coaches, students and parents for this success.
