C-Com Study Trip: Seeing the Same Thing Differently
Learning another language means discovering a road map to another culture. It can also help with learning the same thing in different context. For students to understand this, EP C-COM (Chinese communication) students led by Ms. Sunisa Chuchyanukon went to Talad noi, Chinatown for the elective subject study trip.
On this trip, the students took advantage of learning resources both inside and outside the school to develop their Chinese language proficiency, improve their communication skills necessary for 21st century, and to acquire more knowledge in Chinese culture through real life experiences.
The students were tasked 2 things, 1; to buy their train tickets independently and 2; buy items in Chinatown using Chinese as their means of communication. The students were quite shy at first, but through the encouragement of their teacher and classmates, they were able to succeed in their missions.
