English Program Primary 5 Science: Flowers’ Eco-Bloom
Primary 5 has a fun start doing the Flowers’ Blossom lab activity together with their Science teachers, Mr. Teisutis Asmenavicius and Ms. Supanee Nilprapai. Through this activity, students will be able to learn the parts of the flower and its function, 27 May 2022.
The students are tasked to identify the parts of the flower they have. The activity used real flowers so students could distinguish the variation or see any pattern. They used hand lenses to see a detailed look at the stamens and carpels, and tweezers were given to carefully pull off the petals and sepals.
This activity will help students see the patterns in nature and understand the importance of the parts’ function for pollination and ecosystem.
